Director of Global Customer Service

Reports to Executive Vice President of Product Management & Service

Core Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and increase revenue of ECI’s post sales business.
  • Work towards increasing profitability of the service department by managing the following customer programs: Preventative Maintenance, Spare Parts, Service Contracts and Product Upgrades.
  • Manage service team to perform high quality of services offered to ECI key customers. These services include but are not limited to: on-site and remote product service installation, testing and calibration of products and parts, product upgrades, etc.
  • Manage customer support to ECI customers worldwide.
  • Efficiently manage technical training program for worldwide internal service and process teams, customers, representatives and partners.
  • Assure strong continuous success of ECI subsidiaries by closely managing and supporting service and process teams worldwide.
  • Manage escalation priorities and provide solutions for global customers.
  • Manage departmental resources in regard to scheduling customer visits, customer priorities, budget and expenses.  
  • Collaborate with relevant departments including R&D, engineering and operations to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Develop, lead and mentor service department team members. Interview and hire new team members as needed.
  • Work closely with ECI Representatives supporting ECI products and spare part inventory.
  • Continuous review of processes and systems to ensure the voice of customers is heard and implemented into company practices.
  • Develop deep knowledge of ECI products, offerings and markets.
  • Identify product design problems from the field and assure implementation of corrections.
  • Create and follow timelines for all projects and tasks.
  • Measure and report relevant KPI’s for service department.
  • International and domestic travel as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years Customer Service related experience with technical products required.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills as employee interacts with executives, cross departmental managers/employees and key customers.
  • Must be technically savvy to monitor and report departmental activity on Salesforce, ERP, CAD and office tools.
  • Must be available for global customer escalation issues as needed.
  • Excellent listening, problem solving and implementation skills are essential.

Service Electronics Technician

Reports to Manager of Field Service Engineering

Core Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and test complex microprocessor controlled electromechanical systems to customer satisfaction.
  • Repair, build, test and implement upgrade kits.
  • Create procedures and documentation for customers.
  • Coordinate multiple customer projects in timely manner in a high volume environment.
  • Prepare action plans for problem resolution.
  • Implement fast quality responses to both internal and external customers.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years hands on experience in electromechanical product troubleshooting, repair and documentation.
  • Associates degree in electrical or electronics engineering required.
  • Possess ability to interpret electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Must be able to work with great focus on details from pictures from blueprints, pictures, liquid flow diagrams and detailed technical instructions.
  • Experience working with common hand tools and electronic test equipment (such as oscilloscopes and DVM’s).

Field Service Engineer

Reports to Field Service Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at global customer locations.
  • Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast quality responses to both internal and external customers while maintaining a safety first mentality.
  • Develop action plans for problem resolution and present to internal and external customers.
  • Develop improvements for processes, hardware and software for continuous improvement of company’s equipment / business operation.
  • Complete detailed Field Service Reports and submit to management in a timely manner.
  • Document issues that cannot immediately be resolved at customer site by using appropriate format.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years field service/customer support experience of sophisticated, complex precision equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical / electronic mechanical engineering.
  • Must possess basic troubleshooting techniques in repairing complex microprocessor controlled electro-mechanical systems.
  • Well-able to read and interpret electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and drawings.
  • Outstanding and extremely professional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with hand tools.
  • Knowledge in any of the following areas is a PLUS: Experience working in a FAB facility, closed loop communications control, electro-mechanical controls or microprocessor based controllers, chemical handling including acids, FAB safely requirements or practices.

Reports to VP of Operations

Responsibilities:

·        Accountable for the operation of the chemical handling including but not limited to safety, supply, inventory process, waste streams in company’s manufacturing facility.

·        Lab and Clean Room Safety accountability.

·        R&D and Production equipment calibrations and test equipment installations.

·        Relevant correspondence regarding survey requests, conflict minerals, SDS translations, off shore custom requirements for international branch offices.

·        Ensure OSHA, EPA, Safety and other documents are updated.

·        Comply with Insurance, State, NEAP, ISO 9001 Audits.

Requirements:

·        BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required. MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.

·        Minimum 10 years’ experience in safely/environmental chemical facilities management required.

·        Plan and conduct experiments then write technical report findings.

Qualifications:

·        M.Sc. in Electrochemistry is required; Ph.D. in Electrochemistry is preferred.

·        Knowledge and experience in electrochemistry is required: plus analytical chemistry skills preferred.

·        3- 5 years of precision design experience preferably in equipment used in the semiconductor industry.

·       Manage buying process for parts and materials in line with budgets, quality and delivery targets

·       Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships
