Current Opportunities:

Senior Software Engineer

Reports to: Software Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities:

·        Participate in the development of ECI’s next generation software.

·        Develop software for new chemical analysis techniques and enhance existing techniques for current generation products.

·        Troubleshoot, identify and fix software issues reported by customers and ECI’s personnel.

·        Support software release activities including documentation, testing and packaging.

Required Qualifications:

·        Software, Computer Science, Electrical or related engineering degree required.

·        Experience with MS VC++ Programming, Visual Studio, Hardware Control, GUI, MFC, STL, OOD database.

·        Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work on a team.

·        Minimum 3 years of experience in a full time software development position

Desired Qualifications:

·        Experience with industrial control.

·        Experience with analytical equipment (preferably chemical)

·        Experience in Semiconductor manufacturing and Semiconductor equipment

R&D Electrochemist

Reports to: R&D Manager

Core Responsibilities:

·        Develop new electrochemical methods for analysis and equipment for implementation purposes.

·        Develop analytical methods for process solutions used in metal deposition and other areas of semiconductor manufacturing.

·        Interface with engineering group to design commercial analyzers.

·        Plan and conduct experiments then write technical report findings.

·        Participate in documenting, testing and supporting equipment.

·        Prepare scientific publications and present work at conferences.

Qualifications:

·        M.Sc. in Electrochemistry is required; Ph.D. in Electrochemistry is preferred.

·        Knowledge and experience in electrochemistry is required: plus analytical chemistry skills preferred.

·        2 + years of precision and successful experience are essential.

·        Must possess independent problem solving skills and ability to perform experimental work.

·        Project management and strong organizational skills are helpful.

·        We seek candidates with excellent communication skills, ability to multitask projects and collaborate effectively with other team members.

Chemical Facilities Manager

Core Responsibilities:

·        Accountable for the operation of the chemical handling including but not limited to safety, supply, inventory process, waste streams in company’s manufacturing facility.

·        Daily prioritization and direction for all related building facility work plus equipment install and removal through delegation of appropriate department resource allocation.

·        Oversee, authorize and maintain SDS requirements.

·        R&D and Production equipment calibrations and test equipment installations.

·        Relevant correspondence regarding survey requests, conflict minerals, SDS translations, off shore custom requirements for international branch offices.

·        Ensure OSHA, EPA, Safety and other documents are updated.

·        Comply with Insurance, State, NEAP, ISO 9001 Audits.

·        Special facility projects plus special equipment procurement as needed. 

Qualifications:

·        BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required. Advanced degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.

·        Experience with design and project management of the following is required: plumbing, electricity, carpentry, rigging and HVAC

·        MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITIES AND HAZARDS, OSHA REGULATIONS, NJDEP HAZARDOUS WASTE REGULATIONS, COMPRESSED GAS HANDING PROCEDURES, NJ AND FEDERAL EPA REGULATIONS, WORK PLACE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

·        Semiconductor equipment engineering background is helpful.

·        Ability to recognize a problem, provide a stop gap solution and design/implement long term solutions is essential to be successful in this role.

Mechanical Engineer

Reports to: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities:

·        Optimize engineering design for manufacturability and standardization of the mechanical sections for ECI’s chemical monitoring analyzers and systems.

·        Accountable for complete design process: requirements, design, BOM structure, flow diagram, electrical component integration, sub-assemblies and detail drawings.

·        Develop all supporting documentation such as assembly, test procedures and facility requirements.

Qualifications:

·        BS in Mechanical Engineering is required; MS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

·        3- 5 years of precision design experience preferably in equipment used in the semiconductor industry.

·        Experience in Inventor 3D CAD and AutoCAD software is strongly preferred. 

·        Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with other team members.

·        Ability to multi-task different projects, work independently and focus on details is essential for success.
